My approach

My therapeutic approach incorporates cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to help you identify and reshape unhelpful thoughts. Through the practice of self-exploration and the willingness to make personal adjustments, we can improve daily living. My approach is very relational and will be nurturing with a coaching twist.

My communication style

It is important for me to be an active listener and have a good understanding of the challenges you want to bring into therapy. I am empathetic and will also be honest in feedback and working together to create helpful solutions.

I have always been very invested in relationships and the power they have to help others. As a people person, this role has been very fulfilling to me to help others heal, grow, and excel.

We will create measurable goals that will reflect the reasons you are engaging in therapy. These will be your goals, so we will work together to ensure they meet your needs outside of the therapy room.

Our first session

Our first session will focus on our relationship and ensuring that you feel safe and comfortable. If you are ready, we will discuss the reason you are engaging in therapy, although if you are not there yet, we will create a conversation to build that trust.
