Hi there, I'm Kathryn!

I'm Katia, and my primary focus is working with individuals who experience anxiety, stress, depression, and general life adjustment issues. I believe it's important to learn how to practice self-awareness so when difficult situations occur, we have a better sense of how to handle things, and hopefully, increased feelings of being in control.

My focus

I work with individuals struggling with stress, life adjustments, depression, anxiety, and relationship issues. I specialize in adolescents and young adults, as well as parenting concerns.

My approach

I use a lot of mind-body connection framework, including psychoeducation, to explain how our body responds to thoughts, situations, and feelings, so you can learn to predict how a situation might cause you to feel, and learn to use interventions to change negative responses to more comfortable ones. I use CBT, Polyvagal, and Somatic approaches.
