Hi there, I'm Lois!
I am a woman of the Anishinaabe Nation on my recovery journey from trauma and addictions. I utilize best practices from behavioral health, traditional teachings, and personal recovery experiences in working with my clients. I understand healing from the inside and bring that wisdom to our work together.
My focus
I typically work best with adults ages 18 and older, and sometimes with couples and families. My focus is on grief recovery, co-dependency, addictions, trauma, and rebuilding identity. I understand that many of us have lost identity through our experiences and I help you reclaim it.
My approach
I consider myself informed eclectic, utilizing theories and approaches that best meet your needs. While I assist with addressing specific symptoms, I also encourage going deeper into the core of the problem toward holistic healing. I understand that all people are contextual and must be treated within all facets of their identity.
