I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 27 years of experience specializing in working with adolescents and adults who have experienced trauma. I am passionate about helping clients navigate life’s challenges by providing a supportive and empowering environment.

My approach

Over the years, I’ve realized that most people don’t want to be in therapy for years and years—what if there was a different way? I have combined my love of energy psychology with brain science to create a more effective and transformative approach to healing.

I create a warm, compassionate, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel safe, heard, and supported. My sessions are collaborative and client-centered, allowing individuals to explore their thoughts and emotions at their own pace.

My journey to mental healthcare

My journey into the field of therapy began in high school when I served as a peer counselor. That experience forever changed my trajectory, especially when I was involved in intervening with a suicidal student. Through our support, we were able to save her life.

I take a collaborative, client-centered approach to goal setting, ensuring goals align with each client's unique needs and values. Together, we identify meaningful objectives and break them into manageable steps. Using a strengths-based approach, I provide guidance, support, and accountability.

In our first session, clients can expect a warm, welcoming, and nonjudgmental space where they can share as much or as little as they feel comfortable. We’ll begin by discussing what brings them to therapy, their goals, and any concerns they may have.
