My approach to therapy is creating a therapeutic space that is collaborative, authentic, and respectful. I consider you to be the expert on your life and relationships. I am simply following along. Think of me as a consultant, supporting you as you explore the possibilities and solutions already within you, your relationships, and your family.
My focus
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and work with individuals, couples, and families. Working from a systemic perspective, I look at how the whole system is interacting and functioning.
My approach
I use a Narrative approach and Brainspotting. I am interested in the narratives or rules that we have picked up from our families of origin, relationships, and experiences. Often, these rules are helpful in the beginning and become a source of struggle down the road. Brainspotting is a trauma modality.
