My communication style

My communication style is interactive, sharing and working to help you hopefully feel connected and understood, inviting your feedback and mutuality in exploration of challenges you may be experiencing, while keeping in mind a trauma lens and building on your personal strengths.

My journey to mental healthcare

I started with my own journey to understand myself and acknowledgement of my own strengths and weaknesses. I wanted to be connected to others. I had a desire to help others and wanted to help build a better world, one person at a time, focusing on finding beauty and peace within and not being afraid of what challenges awaited.

My goals for you

It is your journey and your personal goals that I work to help you identify and move toward with your permission, input, clarity, agreement, and awareness. I hope to lay a foundation that builds on your strengths, while being sensitive to areas of trauma and need to improve the ability to cope.

Our first session

I would hope to help you know a bit about me and help you share in an atmosphere that builds trust, what you feel a need to explore, understand, and cope better with in the future. The first session is collecting a good deal of information to be able to develop a treatment plan, but moreover lays the foundation allowing personal growth.
