Hi there, I'm Taryn!

I have 15 years of experience in the mental health field. While I work with a wide variety of people, I have a specialization in addressing the unique mental health needs of BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ individuals.

My focus

I understand that going to therapy can be a bit scary. I'm here to answer any questions and guide you through the process. During the first session, I will gather some basic information from you about why you decided to start therapy. My goal for the first session is to get to know you, and for you to get to know me.

My approach

My treatment approach is eclectic in nature, but I mainly use psychodynamic therapy in my practice. Clients would benefit from my services if they are ready to examine and develop insight into how past experiences impact their present lives. Clients should expect to be validated and gently challenged in therapy.
