My communication style

Having a trusting, open channel between me and my patients is based on feeling heard and safe. Though scientifically based, I am clear and direct while curious, flexible, creative, and engaging.

My journey to mental healthcare

I initially became a dentist because my father desperately saw me in that role. While engaged as such, it became obvious that something was missing. After searching, I literally found myself and the trauma I experienced. Having successfully done so, I decided to make this sort of awakening available to others.

My goals for you

I collaborate with them based on their strengths, perceived weaknesses, and previous experience. Together, we work out a flexible set of goals, always being ready to add, change, or subtract as we move through the psychotherapeutic process.

Our first session

The ability to feel heard and understood. My initial impressions and possibly some psychoeducation based on their previous experiences and/or therapeutic experiences.
