Welcome to my profile. I am honored you are taking this time to reach out to me. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Colorado. I am passionate about helping clients seek themselves in this journey of life through empowerment and guidance. I see myself as a working partner working next to you, and giving you the necessary tools.

My focus

I like to support my clients as a working partner through guidance, empowerment, and psychoeducation. We are working together to support you as the client to become a better version of yourself.

My approach

I use Cognitive Behavior Therapy to help you retrain the way you think and react to more healthy behaviors and positive self-talk. I use a person-centered approach as well as various modalities to best fit each client individually.

My communication style

I am a calm-toned individual. When necessary, I will use accountability to support the client in a calm but firm tone. I prefer to talk to my clients as if we were having a normal conversation, but with more guidance and a therapeutic foundation.

My journey to mental healthcare

I have over 20 years of experience as a social worker. I have over 9 years of experience in public and private school settings with ages 4-21. I have experience in the nonprofit sector in homeless prevention services. I do identify as a black woman and a single parent. I identify as BIPOC and understand the difficulties navigating this world.

I will help my client reach their goals with empowerment, encouragement, psychoeducation, accountability, and redirections when needed.
