My communication style

My communication style is straightforward, open, and honest while remaining nurturing, empathetic, and caring. I provide a safe, judgment-free space where clients can feel heard and supported. I believe in empowering clients to recognize their strengths and make meaningful changes at their own pace.

My journey to mental healthcare

I originally planned to become a pediatrician, but after one year of pre-med, I discovered psychology and a deeper desire to help people live more fulfilling lives—not just treat them when they were sick. After taking time off to raise my children, I returned to school 10 years later to complete my bachelor’s and master’s degrees.

My goals for you

I work collaboratively with clients to identify their goals and regularly check in on their progress. I encourage reflection on how far they’ve come, helping them recognize growth they may not see day to day. Outcome measures at intake and throughout therapy also provide a clear, visual way to track progress.

Our first session

In our first session, I’ll take time to understand what brought you to therapy, your personal history, and current challenges. We’ll explore areas such as relationships, family, trauma, and mental health, complete questionnaires, and work together to identify meaningful goals for your therapy journey.
