My communication style

My communication style is very honest, direct, and meeting the client where they are in their lives today. I believe I have a very empathic, trusting personality who wants to assist individuals and couples through their journey through the therapeutic process of learning and discovering who they are, and what they are capable of achieving.

My journey to mental healthcare

My background comes from wanting to work with individuals, helping them become the best individual or couple that they are able to through their work during their therapeutic process. I am bilingual in Spanish, which has allowed me to work in many different cultures.

My goals for you

I believe it is very important to get to know the client and meet them where they are coming into therapy, and what they want to achieve in this process. I believe it is important to work towards achieving the client's goals in therapy, possibly helping them redefine and look at achieving possible additional goals over time.

Our first session

I believe the first session is to get to know the individual or couple who is coming into therapy, the reasons they want to attend, what issues are causing the difficulties in their lives, and what they hope to achieve for their goals. Basically, it is an assessment to ensure that we are a good fit to work together.
