I also make space for your questions and concerns, because this works best when we're making decisions together with mutual respect.

My journey to mental healthcare

My path into psychiatry began in some of the most acute settings - inpatient units, emergency rooms, and busy outpatient clinics - where I saw firsthand how much the right care can change someone's life. Those experiences taught me that people do best when they feel heard and informed. That belief drives my practice every day.

My goals for you

We'll start by understanding what matters most to you, whether that's reducing symptoms, minimizing side effects, or feeling more like yourself. From there, we'll set clear, realistic goals and revisit them as your needs evolve. Progress isn't always linear, and I'll be honest with you about what's working and what we might adjust along the way.

Our first session

Our first session is all about getting to know you. We'll talk about what brings you in, review your history and any current medications, and start building a picture of what's working and what isn't. There's no pressure to make big decisions right away. We'll move at a pace that feels right, and you'll leave with a clear sense of next steps.
