Hi there, I'm Francesca!

I work with adults who wish to create a more understanding and closer relationship with themselves, to build that foundation that helps manage all other life challenges, both large and small, and to become more resilient to daily ups and downs.

My focus

My clients experience anxiety, depression, family of origin issues, inner child concerns, menopause-related struggles, parenting, financial matters, marriage struggles, issues related to adult children, self-esteem, the full range of interpersonal and relationship problems, and some trauma work.

I tailor each session to meet your very unique and specific needs. I believe each person and their challenges are a specific opportunity to learn, stretch, and grow in ways that serve them. I help you conceptualize your life through Cognitive Behavioral, Family Systems, Client-Centered, and Interpersonal principles that promote lasting change.

My communication style

I am empathic and seek to understand you and what your concerns and goals are now. I am interactive, supportive, and offer my insights, education, and skill-building around the important topics and feelings that you bring to the session each week. Your growth is of utmost importance.

My journey to mental healthcare

Like many of us, I have had to make considerable effort to improve my understanding of the difficult relationships and challenges of my past. I have experienced firsthand how very beneficial and special it is to work with someone who has the wisdom and insight that I need to continue to move forward.

Your goals are our long-term guide to how you'd like your life to be. You choose the direction that we go in, and I bring my expertise and care to our therapeutic relationship. A clear vision of what is troubling you, coupled with how you'd like life to feel and be instead, sets us up for success.

The first session is your opportunity to tell your story in its entirety. I will ask you questions related to important areas of your life that help me place what we share in future sessions into a clear context. I want to understand you and know you better so we are both on the same page moving forward.
