I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the State of CT with 29 years of experience. My basic approach is holistic and eclectic. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. My focus areas of practice are mental health, self-esteem/self-image, life transitions, teens, young adults, and older adults on the micro level.
My focus
I deal with teens and females to age 50 y/o. I treat self-esteem/self-image, clients feeling as though they have failed when at a certain point in life they never anticipated being at, learning to navigate social media along with dating app challenges, fear of loneliness, and not allowing their environments to define who they are.
My approach
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in my practice along with Social Learning Theory, Developmental Theories, Integrated Mind, Body, Spirit Theory, which provides a truly holistic approach to the work my clients and I do, Humanistic Theory, Strength-Based Approach, Person-Centered Approach, and Collaborative Goal Setting.
