Hi there, I'm Padma!

I work with adults navigating depression, anxiety, and life transitions. I also support parents of children with special needs and first-generation children of immigrants. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where you can learn coping skills to manage overwhelming feelings.

My approach

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Solution Focused Therapy to help you set clear, collaborative goals. I believe you already have the tools to create the life you want—sometimes you just need help finding and using them. Together, we'll build on your strengths.

My communication style

I want you to feel safe and free from judgment. My approach is collaborative and strengths-based. I'm here to help you integrate all parts of yourself, including traits you may view as negative but can become positive characteristics.

My journey to mental healthcare

I grew up in a culture where mental health was stigmatized and feelings were dismissed. My own struggles with anxiety and depression led me to therapy, where I found therapists who inspired me to do this work. I hope to help others feel empowered to seek support without shame.

Goal setting is a collaboration. Since therapy is about you, the goals should reflect what you want to focus on. I'm here to help you shape those goals, so they're meaningful and attainable.

I'd like to get to know you and understand what brought you to therapy. We'll talk about your strengths and positive traits. Many people start therapy feeling something is wrong with them, but my goal is to help you see what's already right.
