My approach

I like to use a "teamwork" approach. What I have learned is that individuals are their own experts in their lives and at the same time need guidance, compassion, and understanding to help sort through life's challenges and difficulties.

My communication style

I believe in a soft, sensitive, and straightforward communication style. I will often reflect and rephrase communication to clarify and get a full understanding of what it is that you are going through.

My journey to mental healthcare

I have always enjoyed working with people and helping others since a very young age. I come from a family of helping professions; therefore, being a therapist is very natural and important to me.
