Taking the initiative to seek therapy takes courage, and choosing the right therapist matters. As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I work with clients who are motivated to understand themselves better, improve their emotional well-being, and create lasting change.
My focus
I work primarily with males ages 12 and older seeking to find support through a number of different challenges such as anxiety/panic disorder, depression, life transitions, career challenges/occupational stress, relational concerns and issues specific to men. I also have experience working with couples seeking to improve their relationship.
My approach
I consider my approach eclectic and individualistic. Since I am primarily influenced by Solution Focused Brief Therapy, however, I believe in taking a strengths based approach that empowers the client to make changes at their own pace. I also pull from CBT, narrative therapy, person-centered, and other approaches.
