Hi there, I'm Carol!

My approach to therapy emphasizes empathy, understanding, and respect for your unique experiences and feelings. I focus on depression, stress, and anxiety, and also work with persons diagnosed with serious mental illness on a case-by-case basis.

My focus

I work with adult clients ages 21 and up who are experiencing symptoms of depression and anxiety, such as low motivation, stress, negative thinking patterns and behaviors, racing thoughts, hypervigilance, constant worry, sleep issues, low self-worth, decreased or increased appetite, restlessness, and other related symptoms.

My approach

Key elements of my therapeutic approach are empathy, non-judgmental attitude, personalization, support, encouragement, collaboration, and compassion. The most common theoretical approaches I use in my work are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
