My journey to mental healthcare

I have related to the social pressures to be strong and the need to be heard and seen in this world my whole life. After working through my own struggles, I decided to dedicate my career to helping others. I have found great satisfaction in helping people learn how to help themselves, so they can reconnect and not just survive but thrive.

I believe therapy is a collaborative effort between therapist and client. This means we may take a direct approach, or if you are unsure of goals, I help you develop healthy goals while in session.

My main focus in the first session is to just get to know you. I like to find out information so that I understand where you're coming from and what your needs are. We will review confidentiality, set goals, and discuss what therapy looks like to you.
