Hi there, I'm Susan!

Since 2014, I have helped hundreds of clients thrive in life with solution-focused tools. I view my role as a therapist to help driven women achieve more without burning out, or recover from burnout.

My focus

I work best with women driven to succeed. They struggle with burnout, balance, high stress, perfectionism, fear of not being enough, and performance mentality. Plus, the stress of running a home, managing kids' schedules, having time for a social life, and it can all be too much! I do my best to give women the tools I wish I had.

My approach

I have found that sustainable solutions are brain-based, not behavioral. Utilizing Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), breath work, mindfulness, Neuropsychotherapy, and other evidence-based modalities, we can address issues at the cellular level for lasting change. I am open to counseling from a Christian or spiritual perspective.

My communication style

Clients often tell me that they feel more peaceful when talking with me. I have a calm demeanor and a soothing tone. I regard all clients with honor - this is a judgment-free zone.

My journey to mental healthcare

Since ten years old, I knew I wanted to be a therapist. I cannot imagine doing anything else. It is my greatest joy in life to see others thriving, successful, and fulfilled.

My approach to goal setting with clients is collaborative. I believe that we can work together to accomplish your desires through open communication. We'll have check-in points along the way to stay on track and measure progress.

Our first session

During our first session, we'll explore what brought you to therapy and what you want to accomplish. I'll ask questions to better understand your situation, feelings, thoughts, and what you want to be different in your life. I will do my best to help you feel at ease sharing personal information.
