I have professional experience working with clients facing depression, anxiety, stress, trauma, abuse, grief, and loss. I have worked in various settings including group homes, community mental health centers, psychiatric hospitals, and correctional institutions.
My focus
I work with clients struggling with poorly managed anger, anxiety disorders, mood disorders, low self-esteem, low self-confidence, and relationship conflicts including infidelity and abuse. I am most comfortable working with trauma victims and clients struggling with dysregulated emotions, anger management, depression, and anxiety.
My approach
My counseling style is warm, caring, sensitive, respectful, and compassionate. The therapeutic modalities I practice include cognitive behavioral and dialectical behavioral therapies, client-centered, narrative therapy, and solution-focused approaches.
