My communication style

I believe that communication shapes the climate of the therapeutic relationship between therapist and client. I will provide effective communication skills through empathic listening of verbal and nonverbal communication.

My journey to mental healthcare

My own therapy experience led to my decision to become a therapist due to the impact it made on my life and how I grew from the experience. I enjoy knowing that I can also use my empathy and compassion to offer others the same type of support that I received during a challenging time in my life.

My goals for you

I approach goal setting by getting to know the client beyond his or her symptoms and illness experiences, and discussing the client's interests with them as well as identifying what they have always wanted to do or think that they would like to do.

During the first session, the client can expect for us to get to know each other and get an idea of the therapy process.
