My communication style

My communication style is through person-centered modalities in order to build rapport with the client and understand their needs.

My journey to mental healthcare

I started in the field as a mental health counselor in the corrections field, working with inmates who suffered from mental health issues. I have worked with people who have addictions, then as a school-based therapist with children and their families, and I currently work with clients in community health.

My goals for you

I will help the client learn what exactly their goals are for therapy by letting them identify them and then build a tailored treatment to help them achieve their goals in therapy.

Our first session

In the first session with my client, I will let them know about my background in mental health, learn about them and their concerns that brought them to therapy, and then identify goals to work towards in therapy going forward.
