As a Marine Corps Veteran, I am comfortable treating Veterans, active duty Military, and Reserves, and their Significant Others. I specialize in substance use and gambling addiction, along with the comorbidity of mental health symptoms such as anxiety, depression, and PTSD.

I believe that how we perceive a situation elicits an emotion or feeling that is expressed in our behavior.

My communication style

I am very sincere and empathic with clients and seek to see the situation from their perspective in order to provide objective feedback and support and elicit options for their personal resolution.

My journey to mental healthcare

Becoming a Social Worker is a second career after my early retirement from the Marine Corps. A Psychologist helped me make the transition from the military to the civilian world. I want to provide the same support and guidance I was given during the most trying time in my life.
