I view therapy as a journey, and my therapist role as a co-journeyer, or "sherpa" -a fellow human being who knows the lay of the land professionally, but journeys with you into the terrain of your own life's challenges. Whether they're feeling stuck, lost, anxious, or loveless, I love helping people find their own answers — and their own ways.
My focus
My ideal clients are interested in learning more about themselves. They like analogies and creative input. They're hungry to grow and willing to lean — to do some homework and to be patient with the process. They're enduring breakups or looking for love. They're spiritual but not dogmatic. They're open to discovery and long to be found.
My approach
I'm curious and hopeful. I love brainstorming creative solutions and reframing problems helpfully. I approach therapy as a relationship-based experience with a trusted collaborator. Dignity, grace, and inclusion are vital values that guide my work. I work from a holistic, humanistic perspective and draw on the well of mindfulness for coping.
