I work with adults navigating personal relationships, major life changes, grief and loss, and day-to-day challenges like depression, anxiety, ADHD, or trauma. I recognize the importance of trust between therapist and client and will work hard to build that with you first. Each journey is unique, so you can expect me to use a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Solution Focused Therapy tailored to your therapeutic path.

In sessions, I want you to feel welcome, heard, and safe. I create that environment by listening intently without judgment, responding with a calm and soft tone, and allowing you the time you need to process and heal.

My journey to mental healthcare

My journey to become a therapist started while working for a psychologist who became my mentor. I admired the work he did and knew I wanted to do the same. After exploring possible paths, I decided social work was the best fit for me.

My goals for you

Setting goals for therapy is an important first step. I like to use the SMART approach: Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time-bound. Setting goals early helps create measurable outcomes for determining your success in therapy.

In the first session, we'll go over the therapeutic alliance, confidentiality, and what to expect. I'll want to learn why you decided to seek therapy, your experience with it, and what goals you have for our work together.
