I work with families and individuals navigating life's challenges. My training focuses on helping you reach your full potential as you define it. We are all unique with our own paths to follow. I strive to meet you where you are and provide support along your journey.

My focus

Life changes can be overwhelming, triggering anxiety, depression, and difficulty coping with stress. Leaving home, starting a new career, getting married, becoming a parent, facing divorce, losing a loved one, or becoming a caregiver are transitions that benefit from support.

My approach

I believe healing comes from within. My role is to provide a safe space for you to openly process your truth and give structure as needed. My approach is grounded in empathic understanding, authenticity, and nonjudgmental acceptance. I utilize a variety of tools based on your needs to help you move forward.

My communication style

I believe you are the expert on yourself. I learn the most from listening with a nonjudgmental ear and asking clarifying questions when needed. You should feel relaxed and comfortable, talking as two close friends who feel accepted and respected.

My journey to mental healthcare

My original goal was to serve others in a practical way. Through experience, I realized much of human suffering is based on inner struggle. The purest way to support anyone is to join them in the search for their own inner strength.

When you openly share your inner struggle and see yourself in a positive light, you gain the ability to face each day with confidence that you have the strength within yourself for whatever may come.

I review what to expect in therapy and the limitations of confidentiality. I encourage you to share your story and what brings you to therapy. History is gathered in a conversational style to help establish rapport.
