Hi there, I'm Isaiah!

Anxiety, depression, and trauma symptoms are natural reactions to stress, which can create patterns of thinking and behavior that trap people despite their best efforts. I have worked with people from all walks of life to increase awareness of these patterns and create new patterns that support valued and rewarding lives.

My focus

The ideal client for the type of therapy I use will be interested in changing patterns in their lives. This means being open to a therapeutic relationship and investing time and effort to practice skills we practice in therapy. Not all interventions are 100% for everyone, so being willing to give feedback when something does not help is critical.

My approach

First, I get to know my clients, not just in terms of their problems, but also their strengths and goals. I collaborate to identify someone's change goals and then help people identify their day-to-day symptom patterns, and then work to regulate strong emotions, react differently to triggers, and reframe thinking that fuels problematic patterns.
