Hi there, I'm Louis!

I am a licensed professional counselor. I have been practicing for 45 years. During that time, I have been fortunate to work in all areas of the field. I work with all age groups, and I have been able to develop a counseling style that meets individual needs. The feedback I get from clients is that I can be very matter-of-fact in a good way.

My focus

Over the years, I've tried to work with all types of clients. I find it refreshing to work with clients with less serious and manageable problems. This house video is with the problematic clients who require much more energy and expertise. I limit my involvement because it is, by nature, time-consuming and frustrating, but fulfilling.

My approach

I use a short-term counseling approach that typically takes five or six sessions and has proven very effective. The exception is trauma therapy, which requires more extensive work and a longer timeline to address the deeper layers of healing.
