Hi there, I'm Sarah!

I provide online therapy services and am an ally of the LGBTQIA+ community, striving to provide an affirming and validating space for all of my clients. I'm laid-back, constantly fidgeting, and probably cuss a little too much. Come as you are, there's no judgment here!

My focus

I help teens and adults who feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or stuck in old patterns find healing and clarity. My focus includes trauma recovery, relationship challenges, and identity exploration, including LGBTQ+ affirming care and support for those deconstructing faith.

My approach

My goal is to challenge problematic narratives by helping clients uncover their strengths, highlighting their true capabilities. I aim to help my clients see that they are not the problem; the problem is the problem. Collaboratively, we will identify and implement necessary changes that will help diminish feelings of hopelessness and frustration.

My communication style

I want to help my clients create new narratives for their lives, ones that highlight abilities and improve overall happiness and well-being. I want you to bring your genuine self, and I'll bring mine.

My journey to mental healthcare

I became a therapist after struggling with my own mental health as a teen and being later diagnosed with ADHD. My therapist's compassion and advocacy inspired me to help others find hope and understanding, especially when the world feels heavy or bleak.

My goals for you

Many people come to me with narratives that describe themselves as bad or broken and not good enough, thinking they will never succeed or are unworthy of love or respect. These false beliefs prevent them from making desired changes. We dig into this together, uncovering strengths and rewriting those stories.

Our first session

In our first session, I take time to get to know your story, background, and family dynamics. The first few sessions focus on building trust and understanding your world so we can set goals together at a pace that feels comfortable and collaborative.
