I have been in the counseling field for over 13 years. I graduated from Auburn University and Walden University. I have a background in Mental Health, Marriage, Couple, and Family, Grief, and Substance Abuse.

In my therapeutic career, I typically work with teens, young adults, and middle-aged adults.

My approach

My approach merges the strengths of Reality Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, creating a model that simultaneously addresses behavioral choices, cognitive distortions, and emotions. Clients are guided to recognize that behavior is a series of choices.

My communication style

I am a stern and direct person. Once someone get to know my approach it is seen as kind, understanding and driven. My main focus is to assist my client in change.

My journey to mental healthcare

I have always wanted to be in lawyer or a therapist. I decided to help people with a change in life and still do it in a caring way. My drive is through the change itself and the appreciation I see from clients I have helped.
