I work with young adults, college students, and adults, using a range of styles and techniques to help my clients make progress and see change in their lives.

My focus

I have found that my style and approach are a good fit for young adults, parents, and working adults. Life transitions, social pressures, and the stress of balancing life responsibilities often take on the form of anxiety, low motivation, chronic stress, and issues with focus or sleep.

My approach

My approach to therapy varies based on the needs of the client. I most frequently use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, along with grounding techniques. These techniques help me to gain an understanding of my client's reality and past experiences.

My communication style

My communication style is fairly calm and personable. I am direct and believe that therapy is a tool for accountability. I want my clients to feel comfortable talking about anything, knowing that I am a person too, that's had challenging experiences too. Judgement is not in the room, only curiosity and support.

My journey to mental healthcare

I decided to become a therapist because as a young adult I struggled with how to deal with my own life challenges. I went to therapy, and it changed my life. I was amazed at how another person could be so kind and engaged and help me. I've always wanted to help people in some way.

I work collaboratively with clients to identify goals and develop practical strategies. We'll track progress together, adjust approaches as needed, and celebrate the changes you make along the way.

Our first session is a space for me to listen and try to gather information about who you are and what you need. You can ask questions about therapy, share your expectations, and express your concerns. I hope that you'll leave the space feeling lighter and heard.
