My focus

My ideal clients are adults who are motivated to change. I have spent a significant amount of time working with adults who are dealing with self-esteem issues, grief, trouble communicating, major life changes, and victims of narcissistic abuse. I have spent time working specifically with the military and first responders.

My approach

I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy as I strongly believe that our thoughts are the best place to start our healing journey. If you can change your thoughts, you can change your behavior.

I prioritize clear yet direct communication. I also believe that honesty is the quickest way to clarity.

My journey to mental healthcare

I received my Bachelor's in Biology and my Master's in Rehabilitation Counseling. After working as a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor, I decided to return to school and focus on mental health. I later received my Education Doctorate in Counseling Psychology.

My goals for you

My priority during sessions is to create an environment in which honesty without judgment is welcomed. Accurate identification of the issue allows us to appropriately address the root of the problem.

Our first session

During the first session, I allow the client to take the lead, and I ask questions for clarity. Once I have a better understanding of the presenting issues, we will discuss our initial plan of attack.
