Congratulations! You have begun your first step of self-care, and I will be there with you on your journey. My approach is collaborative and client-focused, and specialized to meet your unique goals. I have had the privilege of working with many individuals who are dealing with anxiety, depression, and trauma.
My focus
I have worked with adults who have had to deal with issues stemming from trauma, both recent and from childhood. Most of us have been wounded in large and small ways, and I believe we can heal those wounds. You and I will develop a plan to work through your painful and difficult emotions that interfere with your happiness.
My approach
I use an eclectic approach that pulls from many counseling techniques that include, but are not limited to: Client-centered, Couples and Family Counseling, CBT, Mindfulness, Trauma-focused, and Strength-based. These techniques will help you and me to work together for you to build your strategies and use the tools you will learn to meet your goals.
