My communication style

My style is warm, conversational, and honest. I strive to create a space where you feel comfortable being yourself while also feeling gently challenged when it supports your growth. Therapy with me often includes curiosity, reflection, and the occasional bit of humor because healing sometimes means allowing ourselves to laugh alongside the tears.

My journey to mental healthcare

My journey into mental health began while studying psychology at UGA, where I conducted research and realized I wanted to work with people rather than simply study them. That experience led me to earn my MSW and become a therapist, finding a role that allows me to combine curiosity, compassion, and a genuine belief in people's ability to grow.

My goals for you

We begin by identifying what you hope to gain from therapy and creating goals that feel meaningful to you. Throughout our work together, we'll regularly revisit those goals, celebrate progress, and make adjustments as your needs evolve so that therapy continues to feel intentional and helpful.

Our first session

Our first session is all about getting to know each other. We'll explore what brought you to therapy, what's been helpful (or unhelpful) in the past, and what you hope to gain moving forward. Together, we'll begin building a plan that fits your unique needs while making sure you feel comfortable, heard, and understood from the very beginning.
