Hi there, I'm Susan!

I believe my clients have the innate ability to solve their problems and sometimes just need a little gentle push from a compassionate listener to improve their lives.

My focus

I enjoy working with women's issues, relationship communication and conflict, LGBTQIQ and gender ambiguity, family of origin difficulties, and managing stress, anxiety, and depression. I prefer working with adults.

My approach

I use a humanistic, client-centered approach to counseling. Sometimes I use cognitive behavioral therapy techniques, as well as many other modalities, to assist in a session. There is no one size fits all, as clients are quite special and unique, so I tailor my approach to what feels comfortable and works for us both.
