Hi there, I'm Kyra D.!

I’m a first-generation therapist, African American woman, parent, partner, creative, book lover, traveler, foodie, and proud Lego enthusiast. I believe therapy should feel like a space where you can exhale, put down some of what you've been carrying, and show up exactly as you are.

My focus

I work with individuals, couples, children, and adolescents navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship challenges, and emotional regulation. I help clients strengthen communication, rebuild trust, develop healthy coping skills, and create meaningful change in a supportive, nonjudgmental space.

My approach

My therapeutic style is warm, authentic, collaborative, and trauma-informed. I meet clients where they are while helping them build the insight, confidence, and practical tools needed to create meaningful change. What makes my approach personal is my commitment to building genuine relationships. I believe growth happens when people feel truly seen.
