Hi there, I'm Luiz!

I am a licensed professional counselor with more than 15 years of experience working with children, adolescents, families, and adults. I completed my Clinical Mental Health Master's Program at Mercer University in 2016 and have been working in multiple settings, such as inpatient hospitals, private practice, and outpatient clinics.

My focus

I can assist with Depression, Anxiety, Trauma, Family issues, Anger Management, Self-Harm, Behavior Modification, Family Intervention, Mood Swings, Relationship Issues, and work with children (starting at 5), adolescent,s and adults.

My approach

I am fluent in English, Portuguese, and Spanish, and I specialize in CBT (Cognitive Behavior Therapy), TFCBT (Trauma Focus Cognitive Behavior), Play Therapy, and DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy).
