Hi there, I'm April!

My approach to therapy is to allow an organic experience between therapist and client that leads to healing, solutions, and mindfulness.

My focus

I work with an array of clients, including clients learning to manage stress, anxiety, depression, work-related stress, marriage and family issues, women's issues, and child and adolescent issues.

My approach

I use Person-Centered, CBT, Solution-Focused, and Reality-Based just to name a few. I also do some Family Systems work.

My communication style

I create a warm and welcoming environment free from judgment. I want to create a safe space to explore exactly what brings my clients in for help.

My journey to mental healthcare

As a teen, I had a cousin who I lost to suicide. After that transition, I developed a passion to help create a voice and a place for others to share feelings and heal from hurt. It has led me to work both in hospitals and in the community.
