My focus

I have experience in helping adults from diverse backgrounds deal with family conflicts, parenting issues, relationship issues, anger management, and coping with life challenges. These issues often take the form of anxiety, depression, and stress.

My approach

My therapeutic approach is based on the unique needs of the individual client. The models of therapy I utilize are Attachment-Based Therapy, Client-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Psychodynamic Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy.

My communication style

My communication style is open, calm, and personable. I have been told that I am friendly and attentive, and I create a safe place for clients to feel comfortable to process issues that concern them.

Our first session

My first session with clients is focused on talking to clients about what brought them into therapy at this time of their lives. I find it therapeutically beneficial to understand my clients more by asking them questions about their history. From there, a therapy plan will be discussed, and goals will be created.
