Hi there, I'm Aaron!
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Hawai'i. Over my career, I have worked with youth and adults in a wide spectrum of counseling, including working with clients on grief counseling, loss, depression, and anxiety. My primary goal is to help support clients in working toward the goals that support their strengths and emotional well-being.
My focus
I have worked with teens and adults who have faced the challenges of loss and grief, as well as those fighting with anxiety, depression, and low self-esteem. I want to support clients in recognizing their strengths and in learning new skills to help overcome the internal conflict and struggles that are burdening them.
My approach
I use a client-focused, person-centered approach with cognitive behavioral and motivational interviewing techniques. Each person is unique in their strengths and challenges. I seek to understand your concerns and goals through nonjudgmental acceptance and active listening.
