Hi there, I'm Alika!

I work with adolescents and adults, helping clients accomplish their goals despite challenges and disabilities. My experience includes supporting students on the Autism spectrum, creating behavioral interventions, substance abuse counseling, addressing emotional disabilities, and working with veterans with PTSD.

My focus

I work with adolescents and adults facing substance abuse, school-based issues, peer conflicts, self-esteem management, depression, PTSD, interpersonal relationships, and family conflict. I help clients acknowledge victories big or small and learn from shortcomings to accomplish their goals. I welcome all genders, religions, and lifestyles.

My approach

My approach includes cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, strengths-based therapy, and client-centered therapy. I help clients recognize, avoid, and deal with triggers that may cause relapse of negative behaviors or substance use, exploring emotional triggers as well.
