In therapy, my style is assertive, accommodating, and reflective—open and supportive. I listen closely and reflect on what I hear so you feel understood. My goal is a safe, nonjudgmental space to speak freely and explore. This balanced approach fosters trust and meaningful, supportive conversations.

My journey to mental healthcare

Working as a substance abuse counselor inspired me to become a therapist. I saw how addiction and mental health intertwine, and it was powerful to watch people find strength and move forward. I wanted to support clients more deeply and create a space where they feel truly seen, supported, and safe.

My goals for you

Together, we clarify your values and reasons for therapy, then set meaningful, personalized objectives. Using the SMART framework (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, Time-bound), we define clear steps. With flexibility and self-compassion, we revisit goals as life shifts—building ownership and lasting change.

Our first session

In our first session, we’ll create a comfortable, safe space to share what brings you to therapy. I’ll listen closely, ask clarifying questions about your history, and explain how therapy works. Together we’ll identify goals and outline how we’ll work toward them. I’ll answer any questions.
