I take an eclectic approach but use skills from Dialectical Behavior Therapy and Internal Family Systems in sessions with my clients. As a yoga instructor, I can weave therapeutic movement, breath work, and meditation into sessions as well.
My focus
I find my approach works well with teens and young adults. I am an LGBTQ+ ally and work with transgender young adults. The issues I treat include anxiety, depression, stress, PTSD, relationship issues, and grief.
My approach
I utilize DBT for increased emotional regulation, mindfulness skills, and assertive communication. I incorporate Internal Family Systems to increase self-compassion and self-awareness. I can weave therapeutic movement, breath work, and meditation into sessions as well.
