Hi there, I'm Jane!

I am an experienced healer specializing in trauma, grief, and loss. I gently guide clients on a journey of self-discovery to know their truth and inner strength. I will support you as you reach your goals and ease the burdens of anxiety, depression, fear, anger, and disconnection that disrupt your joy.

My focus

I work with adults who have experienced trauma, grief, and loss. I am comfortable addressing the effects of trauma that show up as depression, anxiety, fear, anger, confusion, and disconnection from others. I also support clients navigating eating disorders, substance abuse, and addictions that often accompany PTSD and traumatic stress.

My approach

I use EMDR and Internal Family Systems for trauma work, as I believe trauma lives in the body as well as the mind. I draw on my background as a yoga instructor to create self-awareness and help you develop a somatic sense of where trauma resides. I also integrate CBT and DBT when they serve your healing process.

My clients tell me I bring openness, curiosity, and competence as we join together to understand and heal whatever is manifesting in their everyday life.

My journey to mental healthcare

I was taught that every human being has innate goodness and potential. After experiencing childhood trauma, I embarked on a quest for inner peace and self-awareness. Working with refugees and in hospice care taught me that despite having little control over our external environment, we can foster hope and inner peace.

I ask my clients what they would like to see differently in their lives. We set a treatment plan and routinely review where you are in the process.

Our first session

In the first session, I always assess for physical and psychological safety. I listen to whatever you need to say as you are ready to share. If you have been in therapy before, I want to know what has worked for you so we can build upon your skill set.
