Hi there, I'm Marymay!

I provide individual therapy for those who struggle with anxiety, trauma, relationship issues, and other life challenges. I understand that no single approach is right for every individual, and I do my best to tailor sessions to my client's needs.

My focus

I typically work with adults and teens (16+). I find that working with motivated clients has the most success in therapy and gets the outcomes that they desire.

My approach

During sessions, I use an insight-oriented approach to help my clients better understand themselves. I am trained in CBT, motivational interviewing, and EMDR.

My communication style

I believe in open communication while practicing empathetic listening. My sessions are often client-led, and my role is to help individuals gain different perspectives on the life challenges that they struggle with.

My goals for you

During the beginning of the session, I typically ask Clients what their desired outcomes are in therapy, and from there we develop set goals to focus on. Therapy work can be daunting at times, but rest assured, I will be supportive while you go through this journey.

Our first session

For the first session, I ask everyone what brought them to therapy. From there, I spend the session getting to know the client and allowing them to get to know me. This allows my potential Clients to see if I would be the best therapist for them.
