My approach

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to reduce depression and anxiety, Problem Solving Therapy for stress related to inefficient coping skills, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy for interpersonal conflicts, mood disorders, and changing behavioral patterns.

My communication style

Clients say I'm easy to work with. I value honest, open communication and believe in treating people how I'd want to be treated. I mix clinical and everyday language to help clients who don't know where to start feel comfortable.

My journey to mental healthcare

My military service showed me how mental health affects service members, families, and communities. I witnessed marriages struggle, and individuals suffer without enough support, which inspired me to become a therapist and serve those in need.

My goals for you

Goal setting is essential to doing the work. When clients set specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time-bound goals, they often experience less stress and anxiety while staying motivated to progress in therapy.

Our first session

I'll review confidentiality, consent, and answer your questions. We'll discuss crisis resources and your support system. Then I'll learn what's going on, how long it's been happening, and how it's affecting you.
