My goal is to create a safe, collaborative, and therapeutic environment so we can address symptoms and meet your goals. I will always listen to your needs and concerns and address them in a collaborative way.

My journey to mental healthcare

I grew up where mental health was shunned and rarely discussed. Most people who struggled would not seek care for fear of stigma. I wanted to change the narrative, and this drew me to this field. I am committed to empowering and improving the lives of those who struggle with mental illness.

My goals for you

I approach goal setting by collaborating with you. I involve you in your own plan of care so you feel included. I also encourage setting goals in a realistic time frame so you are not disappointed if the goal is not achieved.

Our first session

My first session with you would be to set a foundation for your care. My main focus would be to build trust and create a safe and therapeutic environment. This would be achieved by getting to know more about you and any pertinent history that would guide your care.
