Hi there, I'm Maureen!

I support your self-discovery and healing through an eclectic approach including psychotherapy, CBT, integrative health and wellness, dream analysis, and body-mind integration. I focus on depression, anxiety, stress, grief and loss, relationship challenges, spirituality, and a general sense of healing.

My focus

I serve primarily adults and seniors facing depression, anxiety, relationship issues, grief and loss, health and wellness issues including weight management and sleep disorders. I support spiritual issues, primarily the Christian faith, and specialize in military issues for active duty, veterans, and spouses.

My approach

I use an eclectic approach including psychodynamic, family systems, empathic listening, CBT, Jungian dream analysis, process psychology, art and somatic healing, wholistic integrative health and wellness, Heart-math, brain-spotting, and cutting-edge neuropsychology. We design the most effective healing modality for your unique issues.

My communication style

I create a warm, supportive, compassionate, curious, energetic, inviting environment. I am also honest and to the point about the real issues in therapy. I am fully engaged in developing a therapeutic and trusting relationship with you, always available, reliable, and putting your healing first.

My journey to mental healthcare

My journey began in high school, where I was especially interested and adept as a listener. I was deeply impressed by a social worker who helped my best friend cope with her mother's cancer. I find supporting individuals from struggle to healing and full empowerment deeply satisfying.

We identify the primary issues in your daily life, the barriers and challenges you experience, and set realistic and attainable goals together. The SMART Goal model and Motivational Interviewing are powerful tools you will learn and experience to increase your empowerment for full control and success.

Our first session

We build rapport and a therapeutic relationship by understanding the issues and history of your life as this relates to what has brought you to therapy. I look forward to learning about your daily life, life and relationship challenges, family background, your challenges with symptoms of mental health, and your success in healing.
