My focus

I work with patients that range from children to older adults with conditions like depression, anxiety, bipolar, PTSD, OCD, insomnia, and ADHD.

My approach

I individualize each patient's needs and we work together to find a treatment plan that gets you toward your goals. I use a combination of CBT, EMDR, Solution-focused therapy, and interpersonal therapy. As part of a safe and personalized approach to care, I do not prescribe benzodiazepines.

My journey to mental healthcare

I was a Family Nurse Practitioner for years and it frustrated me how little time I got to spend with my patients. I could see so many of my patients struggling with mental health disorders but didn’t feel like I had the expert knowledge or time required to give them excellent care. I decided to go back to school to specialize in psychiatry.
